Enjoy a contemporary twist on the classic afternoon tea as Boston meets Britain in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.

From iced tea to Earl Grey, classic scones to Boston Cream Pie, join us on a journey through taste, culture and rebellion to discover the surprisingly radical history of tea, as well as Milton’s influence on the Founding Fathers of America.

Tickets cost £35 for a classic cream tea, or £45 with sparkling wine included.  All proceeds support Milton’s only surviving residence, and the place where he completed his epic masterpiece Paradise Lost.  Weather permitting, tea can be served in our literary garden, as well as inside the museum.
