Whilst visiting Milton’s Cottage, why not take some time to wander around Chalfont St. Giles, one of the most picturesque villages in the Chilterns? As well as great pubs, cafes and restaurants there’s a Grade I listed Norman church, old almshouses and the River Misbourne running tranquilly through.
Close by is the Chiltern Open Air Museum and Jordans Quaker Meeting House – famous as the last resting place of William Penn and his family.
The Chalfont St. Giles village website has a detailed visitor information guide about the local area which can be viewed online here.
We are currently open from Wednesday to Sunday (as well as on bank holiday Mondays) from 2pm – 5pm, with last entry at 4.30pm. £7/adult; £6/concession; free for children and carers.
We are delighted to cater for parties of varying sizes and interests. To enquire about making a booking, please telephone us on 01494 872313 or fill in our group booking enquiry form.
