Workshops

Through playful prompts – and with Milton’s eclectic cast of angels, demons, monsters and talking animals as our muse – these after-school creative writing activities are designed to help young people improve their writing skills, express themselves, and have fun in an inspirational setting.

Taking place every term-time Monday, these informal drop-in workshops are FREE to attend with no booking required.  There is no set start or departure time, so you can attend as much (or as little) of the session as you like. Each workshop is a stand-alone session, so you can also attend as many (or as few) as you like. There will be a break during May half-term, with workshops resuming again from Monday 1st June 2026.

They are ideal for young people aged 6-12, including those who love to write as well as those who need a little more encouragement.
