Opening Hours & Prices

We are open from 1 April to 13 December 2026, Wednesday to Sunday (as well as bank holiday Mondays) from 2 – 5pm, with last entry at 4.30pm. Groups are welcome to visit outside of these times by prior arrangement.

All of our visitors are offered the option of a guided tour, included with your admission fee. Advance booking is not required, and we welcome drop-in visitors. Those wishing to book online can do so (for tours starting at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm) via the link below. PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE CURRENTLY EXPERIENCING PROBLEMS WITH OUR BOOKING SITE, SO IT MAY NOT BE POSSIBLE TO BOOK ONLINE AT THE MOMENT. APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE: WE ARE WORKING TO GET THIS RESOLVED. IN THE MEANTIME, THERE IS NO REQUIREMENT TO BOOK, AND YOU WILL BE GUARANTEED ENTRY TO MILTON’S COTTAGE ON A DROP-IN BASIS.

Our current admission fees are:

Adults – £7.00
Concessions (students, universal credit & retired) – £6
Children under 16 – free
Carers – free
Parties of 15 or more – £6.00 per person

All tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of your first entry.

Please note that Milton’s Cottage is a Grade I listed, 16th century former farm-workers dwelling. As a result, it has access limitations, so if you require wheelchair access, please contact us in advance to arrange this.
