Public transport

Chiltern Line from Marylebone to Gerrards Cross (High Wycombe train) then the 104 or 101 bus to Chalfont St Giles (the 104 bus will drop you directly outside Milton’s Cottage).
Chiltern Line from Marylebone to Amersham (Aylesbury train) then the 101 bus to Chalfont St Giles (please note the 101 bus doesn’t go through the village, so please use the Wheelhouse Vets stop and walk down Pheasant Hill through the village).
Metropolitan Line underground to Chalfont and Latimer then the 101 bus to Chalfont St Giles.

Private transport

Take the A413 to Chalfont St Giles, turn into the village at the Pheasant double mini-roundabout, go through the centre of the village and approx. 75 metres past the last shop is Milton’s Cottage.

Parking information

There is a free visitor’s car park adjoining Milton’s Cottage for cars or mini-buses. It is not accessible to coaches but we can provide you with information about local coach stop-off points.

Opening Hours & Prices

Wednesday to Sunday (as well as bank holiday Mondays) from 2pm – 5pm, with last entry at 4.30pm. Tours starting at 2pm, 3pm & 4pm
