Simple Ways To Help Milton's Cottage Trust To Raise Funds
Milton's Cottage Trust relies upon throughput of visitors, sales of souvenirs, and occasional donations for its continued existence as the foremost repository for matters Miltonic. There are however, other ways you can help to keep the Cottage open to the general public in perpetuity:
- Make a donation. Please make all cheques payable to Milton Cottage Trust
- Even better, make a donation and sign a "gift aid" form so that the Trust can claim the tax back on the gifted donation. (Ask the curator for a form)
- Arrange for your business, or encourage your employer to make a Charitable donation
- Join the Society of the Friends of Milton's Cottage. Click here for all the details and application forms
- Visit the Cottage, bring friends, relatives and your own visitors
- Make Milton Cottage Trust a beneficiary in your will
- Organise a fund-raising event amongst your friends and acquaintances. A coffee morning, a social event, anything legal!
During the 'closed' winter months is is often possible to arrange for a speaker to give a talk to small fund raising groups on various aspects of the Cottage, and the life and times of Milton.
